No Bias. No Sponsors. Just Honest Reviews

We asked Anthropic’s Claude AI to find every major U.S. Agent for Service provider — then score each one against the same criteria. No human opinion. No paid influence. Just the analysis. For the most comprehensive FAA U.S. agent for Service reviews see the rankings.

The wrong FAA U.S. Agent for Service could cost you your aviation credentials.

Every FAA certificate or license holder with an address outside the United States is required to designate a U.S. Agent for Service (USAS). That includes pilots, drone pilots, A&P mechanics, flight engineers, flight attendants, aircraft owners — and American citizens with an FAA license living abroad or without a physical U.S. address (Postal Box is not accepted).

Miss the deadline. Pick the wrong provider. Lose contact. Any of those can put your certificate at risk.

We reviewed every major FAA USAS Agent provider so you don’t have to.

  • Every major USAS provider independently evaluated
  • Results provided with full transparency

No guesswork. No bias. Just clear, quarterly-updated analysis you can trust.

How It Works

  1. Build the Criteria Matrix ~ We define what matters most to FAA license holders. The criteria matrix is the same for each USAS provider every quarter — no moving goalposts.
  2. Anthropic Searches & Scores ~ Claude AI independently searches the web, discovers providers organically and scores everyone it finds against the same criteria. No provider list is provided to Claude in advance.
  3. Published with Full Transparency ~ Scores and category ratings are published in full — so you can see exactly how each provider was rated, not just a final number.

Have a Question or Suggestion?

We’re here to help the FAA aviation community make informed decisions. Whether you have a question about a specific provider, want to suggest new review criteria or just need help figuring out where to start — reach out. We read every message.

Every quarter — in January, April, July, and October. Each update is a full re-evaluation from scratch. A score earned last quarter has to be re-earned this quarter. Each review includes a “Last Reviewed” date so you always know how current the data is.

The FAA can suspend or revoke your certificate/license for failure to designate a U.S. Agent for Service. It’s not optional — it’s a regulatory requirement under 14 CFR Part 3. Beyond that, any FAA legal correspondence sent to your agent’s U.S. address is considered legally served — whether you received it or not.

Any FAA certificate or license holder whose address of record is outside the United States. This includes pilots, drone pilots (Part 107), A&P mechanics, flight engineers, flight attendants, aircraft owners and American citizens living abroad. If your address on file with the FAA is a non-U.S. address or a postal box, you are required to designate an agent.

Anthropic’s Claude AI independently searches the web and scores each US Agent for Service provider across a 9-category criteria matrix. Categories include pricing, mail handling, scanning, dashboard quality, notifications, physical forwarding, support expertise, aviation credentials and extras. Scores are weighted into a 1–100 total.

Never. No sponsorships, no affiliate links, no paid placements. Our scores are 100% Claude AI-generated against objective criteria. If a provider asks us to change a score or remove a review, we decline — and we note the request publicly.

Yes — we want to hear from the aviation community. If there’s something you think we should be evaluating that isn’t currently in the matrix, submit it through our contact form and tell us. We review all suggestions and consider them for inclusion in our quarterly update. The matrix is built from real questions the aviation community asks.
