Independent USAS Reviews You Can Trust

Why Claude AI-Powered Reviews?
Human reviewers have blind spots. They can be swayed by advertising relationships, personal familiarity with an USAS provider or simply incomplete research. We eliminate that entirely when we review FAA Agent for Service providers.
Every provider on this site was discovered and evaluated by Anthropic’s Claude AI — independently, using the same criteria, with no prior list of providers given and no human scoring involved. Claude searched the web, found every provider it could locate and scored each one against a standardized 9-category matrix.
The result is an FAA agent review, no single human reviewer — however thorough — could produce without bias.

What We Evaluate
Every provider is scored across 9 categories, each rated 1–5. Those category ratings are then weighted into an overall score out of 100. Pricing is not a separate rated category — it is factored directly into the overall score weighting, where Price / Value accounts for 30% of the total score, so you can choose the best FAA U.S. Agent for Service USAS provider.
Pricing Transparency Is pricing clearly published? Are there hidden fees? Can you determine your total annual cost before signing up — or do you have to contact them first?
Aviation Credentials & Knowledge Does the provider demonstrate genuine aviation industry knowledge? Are staff pilots, mechanics, A&P-IAs, DPEs or aviation attorneys? Or is this a generic registered agent company that added FAA services as a secondary offering?
Physical U.S. Address Does the provider maintain a legitimate, verifiable U.S. street address for the receipt of FAA correspondence? Under FAA regulations 14 CFR Part 3 Subpart C, a valid U.S. Agent for Service address must be a physical street address — not a P.O. box or unmanned virtual office. The address must be staffed and attended during regular USPS delivery hours and process server business hours, so that FAA correspondence and legal process can be received, signed for and acted upon without delay. Providers who list addresses that do not meet this standard are flagged.
Mail Handling & Processing How does the provider handle physical FAA mail once it arrives? Is there a documented intake process — logging, time-stamping, secure storage? Or does your correspondence sit untracked in a pile until someone gets to it?
Scanning & Digital Delivery Are documents scanned promptly and delivered digitally? What resolution and format? How quickly after physical receipt? Is delivery automated or manual?
Dashboard & Client Portal Is there a secure online portal where you can log in, view your account status, access scanned documents and track your correspondence history? Or do you have to email and ask?
Notification Systems How quickly and how are you notified when FAA mail arrives? What channels are available — Email, SMS, WhatsApp, phone call? Is the notification process documented and consistent or informal and variable?
Physical Mail Forwarding Can the provider forward original physical documents to you internationally when required? What are the shipping options, costs and turnaround procedures? Are mailing costs included in the annual fee or billed separately?
Support Quality & Expertise Can you reach someone who actually understands FAA regulations, the Agent for Service requirement and the specific situation of an international certificate holder — or are you dealing with a generic customer service team reading from a script?
Additional Services & Extras Does the provider offer genuine value beyond the baseline requirement — aviation attorney referrals, N-registration trust services, multi-certificate coverage, multi-year pricing discounts, IACRA guidance or other meaningful add-ons?
USAS review overall score (1-100) is weighted as follows: Price / Value 30% · Mail Handling & Scanning 25% · Tech Platform 20% · Aviation Expertise & Support 25%
Pricing is assessed based on published annual rates relative to the features and quality delivered — not on lowest price alone. A provider charging more but delivering significantly more value can outscore a cheaper provider wit a poor service offering.
How It Works
One AI. One Standard. Zero Influence.
Step 1 — Build the Criteria Matrix
We define and refine our evaluation criteria each quarter based on what matters most to FAA certificate holders. The matrix is built from real questions our community asks.
Step 2 — Claude Does the Research
Claude AI searches the web independently, finds every provider it can discover and scores each one against identical criteria — with no knowledge of what any human review thinks.
Step 3 — Publish with Full Transparency
We publish each provider’s individual rating (1—5) alongside the top score — so you can see exactly how each provider rated in each category, not just a final number.
Step 4 — Updated Every Quarter
Our FAA Agent Reviews run in January, April, July and October. A score earned last quarter has to be re-earned this quarter. Provider offerings change. Our scores reflect that.
Update Schedule
USAS reviews are updated every quarter — in February, May, August and November.
Each update is a full re-evaluation from scratch. We do not carry scores forward from the previous quarter or make incremental adjustments. Provider offerings change. Prices change. Service quality changes. A score earned last quarter has to be re-earned this quarter.
Every review page displays a clear “Last Reviewed” date so you always know exactly how current the information is. If a significant change occurs at a provider between quarterly reviews — a price increase, a change in ownership, a service disruption — we note it on the review page with a date stamp.
We do not…
accept payment from providers for placement, review coverage or score adjustments.
We do not…
run affiliate programs that pay us when you sign up with a provider.
We do not…
accept free services, discounts or gifts from any provider we review.
We do not…
adjust scores based on provider feedback or complaints.
We decline…
If a provider asks us to change a score or remove their listing, we decline — and we note the request publicly on their review entry.
We review…
If a provider believes their score is inaccurate, they can submit evidence through our contact form. We will review it and respond publicly.
Full Criteria Transparency
We publish the complete evaluation criteria so you can assess the methodology yourself. If you believe a category is missing, weighted incorrectly or could be improved, we want to hear from you.
The criteria matrix is a living document — it is reviewed at the start of each quarter and updated if the aviation community identifies meaningful gaps. Any changes to the matrix are announced publicly before the next quarterly review runs, so providers and readers alike know what’s changing and why.
See the Results.
